Summary:

Our design agency client asked us to produce a specialist, bespoke printed invitation for a prestigious VIP event.

The emphasis was on retaining the glamour and glitz associated with high profile televised award evenings of this kind.

To help achieve this we suggested using a combination of a rich coloured Pantone ink and a bright gold foil for the design on the front and back of the invitation card.

We also used an extra thick printed invitation card with a quadplex finish and a combined board weight of 1080gsm to increase bulk and add impact .

The centre sandwich consisted of a double layer of a reflective gold board to complement the gold foil design.

Our client was delighted with the result and many of the guests commented on how they intended to retain the invite as a keepsake for the event!

Summary:

We have chosen to showcase our very own Scanplus Print Group business cards as they have proved so popular with clients and suppliers alike.

Having discussed the concept our team decided on a premium printed business card style that highlighted the potency of specialist printing finishes.

We litho printed front and reverse sides using Pantone blue and grey inks onto a textured matt uncoated board and embossed the reverse side with a contrasting gloss white foil logo – this made the logo stand out proudly.

Then we sandwiched a sheet of bulky mandarin coloured card in between the two printed layers before gluing the sheets together (we call this triplexing) to give premium thick printed business cards.

Soon after we were chuffed to receive numerous positive comments about our cards and have since replicated similar style printed business cards for a number of our clients using their own branding and colours of course. High impact luxury business cards make you stand out from the crowd – we know that from experience!

Summary:

We worked closely with our design agency client to produce a beautiful bespoke printed catalogue for a prime TV network showcasing its top performing shows with details of future projects aimed at key stakeholders.

The highlight of the catalogue printing was the unique printed cover that delivered a visual combination of glitz, contrast and impact.

The stunning cover board, Sirio Pearl Aurum Gold – made by Fedrigoni of Italy – is a unique metallic gold paper with fascinating texture and a subtle shimmer.

The outer cover was duly foil blocked using a combination of bright metallic pink and opaque white shades of foil.

The inside section was printed on a coated stock in vibrant colours which helped bring the photography to life.

The saddle stitched printed catalogues were finally enclosed in matching gold envelopes and were despatched by first class post to the client’s mailing list!

A very happy customer indeed and if we may say so ourselves one of the most visually stunning printed catalogues that we have ever produced!

Summary:

Working alongside our design agency customer we were asked to produce a range of printed stationery for an Anglo-American business with 8 offices worldwide.

The brief was to achieve a high quality, professional corporate stationery with a soft tactile finish. Having studied a selection of options the client chose to print onto a luxury Colorplan paper benefitting from a combination of the premium finish with a wide range of paper and board weights and matching envelopes that were available within the range.

Subtle design and excellent photography reproduced using CMYK and Pantone special colour inks gave powerful and vibrant images across the full range of the bespoke printed stationery.

The last part of the print production process was the debossing used to accentuate the customers logo and increase the overall premium appeal.

To accompany the letterheads and compliment slips we produced a full printed business stationery package consisting of a range of business cards, bespoke printed envelopes and corporate presentation folders. The client loved the results and received great feedback from staff across the world!

Summary:

Working with our charity client we were tasked with producing a printed hardback commemorative book for key institutional founders and donators.

We helped with the design for print format and produced a selection of page layouts in advance for style selection before proceeding with full book artwork incorporating images and copy that were supplied to us. In order for our customer to fulfil a promotional photoshoot slot we also managed to provide an advance printed book dummy before the design was actually completed!

This short run hardback book print production was produced on our IGEN 5 digital press, benefitting from high quality colour digital printing and low cost production.

A matt laminate on the outer cover rewarded the book with an enhanced tactile feel.

Our client was ‘very emotional’ with the finished result. Not least because the book had been years in the making but also due to the transformation of a much edited Word document to a beautiful, professionally printed hardback book with eye-catching design and vibrant colours throughout.

Summary:

We worked closely with a private school and an independent graphic designer to help produce this high quality printed school prospectus on a restricted budget. The brief was to create a highly visual concept that demonstrated the ethos, togetherness and happiness within the classroom and beyond: from pupil to teacher to parent.

With an added emphasis on resourcefulness and sustainability we chose to print onto a tactile part recycled matt uncoated paper and featured the school crest in the form of a specialist embossed finish on the cover. The photographs were of stunning quality, jumping off the printed page and the design style featuring the schools’ two prime colours (red and grey) was simple, clear and concise.

A combination of wonderful photography, skilful design and best quality prospectus printing proved to be a winning formula delivered within budget.

Summary:

Our client asked us to help review their monthly magazine printing specifications to reflect their inherent commitment to sustainable environmental values and invited us to work with them to find a solution.

Subsequently we put forward a selection of printed magazine mock-ups on different recycled FSC papers from which to choose.

After much deliberation a 100% recycled matte uncoated paper with a soft texture and an off-white shade was selected.

The entire management team were delighted with the visual effects of the recycled fibres in the stock and the magazine was very well received by all.

As availability of the paper was limited and the regular magazine run lengths were high we arranged for bespoke bulk paper makings in advance direct from the mill to help reduce paper costs and minimise paper waste.

We also took control of the magazine distribution through our mailing and fulfilment department.

Summary:

Our client, a luxury brand drinks retailer was re-launching a premium brand of port and wanted a visually appealing marketing folder in which to distribute brand literature to key contacts.

The printed presentation folder combined a number of specialist print finishes to help give it a premium, tactile presence.

The gold foil blocked logo follows the style of the traditional product label while the spot gloss UV gives a distinctly contemporary feel.

The folders with collated product information sheets enclosed were despatched by mail to a UK-wide database in premium envelopes.

Our client was delighted with the presentation folder printing and subsequently chose to follow similar styling for other brands product updates.

Working alongside the client’s design agency team we provided luxury book printing for this high end marketing anniversary celebration project. This book cover demonstrates the benefit of combining Wibalin stock with a foil block emboss that generates a luxury, tactile sensitivity. The text section of the book printed on a smooth coated FSC paper helps brings the fantastic photography to life with crisp, clear and vibrant litho printing.

The case bound finish with head and tail bands complete with custom black ribbon add the finishing touches to create a stylish premium coffee table book.

We were instructed to despatch the completed books packed in bespoke printed cartons to the customers VIP list.

Our client was delighted with the entire design and print production and the book packs were in turn very well received by all recipients.
